Fall at the North Rim Grand Canyon

These are the images from the Grand Canyon (North Rim). I’ve never been on this side, although we’ve been to the more popular and crowded south side. The most recent visit to the south side was in 2019 during the winter; you can see those photos here.

The north side is definitely a lot less traveled; it’s closed during the winter season (we were there during the last week of the season), it’s higher in elevation, so it receives more snow/rain, and there are fewer places to stay and eat. Still, it’s great to see if you’re looking for solitude and don’t mind the lack of resources. We drove to the north rim from Zion. You can see my previous post on Zion here.

I borrowed the original 2005 canon 5D from a friend with the 17-40mm red badge L-series zoom lens. I used that camera along with my Fujifilm x100v.

You need to add a widget, row, or prebuilt layout before you’ll see anything here. 🙂
