Fall in the Holy Land – Israel

I visited the holy land in late October. Several weeks went by since I came back but it took me a while to choose the photos that would be shown here. I wanted to put up all four posts at the same time. This specific post is for images in all locations within Israel, but outside of Jerusalem, which has its own post here. All images were taken with the Fujifilm x100f, which is all I took. No other cameras, no other lenses — except for my phones for silly pics but that doesn’t count 🙂 — The very first image was of course upon arrival at the Tel Aviv international airport.

The first stop was one night in Caesarea National Park located right on the Mediterranean coast. This place has a really cool Roman Amphitheater right next to the ocean. These series of images also show Megiddo, a biblical city, as well as Nazareth.

The next stop was in Tiberias. This is a biblical town located right on the western side of the Sea of Galilee, we had such an awesome cruise during the afternoon in the Sea of Galilee. The rest of the photos in this gallery include Capernaum, the town where it’s believed the apostle Peter originally lived, and the Mount of Beatitudes.

The following images were taken after crossing the border into Jordan, Petra and then back. Jordan and Petra has its own post dedicated here. For these photos, we continue along Israel by visiting the Jordan River, Qumran National Park, Masada National Park, and Dead Sea.

Last but not least, Bethlehem. The town is located within the West Bank in Israel. Most of these images are black and white, candid and street photography-type of shots.

The next leg of this trip is Jordan, Petra here.

  1. Usually i do not care about landscape photography . But man i am blown away how much I like your photos and most of them taken with the x 100 f. I do not know how much post processing you have done but in any case they are excellent.
And I really must say one does not need more than this spectacular fuji x 100 f. I will finally will get mine and order also the new V.
I am afraid I will forget all the other cameras I have.
Anyway I enjoy your photos very much. Congratulations
